Photo Gallery | Sunrise...sunset

Recently Frank Staples of Piggott went through his files and found some photos he’s taken in the last few years of beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

These are a few of his favorites.

As Frank tells us:

We’re very fortunate here in Clay County to have Crowley’s Ridge which provides some dynamic contrast as far as terrain. Most of these photos are in the winter months when the air is clearer making sharper pictures. I hope you enjoy them. My favorite in this group was taken this week very near the Davis home on Hwy 139 between Pollard, AR and Fagus, MO. Most of the pictures that have a pond in it were taken from my patio – some are from Heritage Park.
